The Kendalls' song "Sweet Desire" was released on their 1979 album, Heaven's Just a Sin Away. The song was written by Don Wayne and Ronnie Rogers and performed by the country music duo of Royce Kendall and Jeannie Kendall.
The lyrics tell the story of two lovers who want to be together despite any consequences that may come about from it. The chorus is particularly memorable with the line “Oh sweet desire, I can't keep my heart from burnin’ for you”. It peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart in 1980 and remains one of the group's most popular songs.
