VST & Company is a Filipino disco band formed in 1977 by Vic Sotto, Tito Sotto and Val Sotto. The group released their debut album, "Ipagpatawad" on October 15, 1978.
The album was produced by Vicor Music Corporation and featured the hit single of the same name which became an instant classic. The song "Ipagpatawad" was written by Vic Sotto and Cesar Bañares. It is a slow-tempo ballad with lyrics about asking for forgiveness from a loved one. The genre of the track is Disco/Funk. VST & Company's lineup includes Vic Sotto, Tito Sotto, Val Sotto, Joey de Leon, Rene Garcia and Chito Ilagan as members. The song has since become a classic amongst Filipinos and its lyrics are still widely quoted today.
