The Rasmus is a Finnish rock band formed in 1994. Their song "Liquid" was released on the album Dead Letters on March 17, 2004.
It was written by Lauri Ylönen, Eero Heinonen and Pauli Rantasalmi and produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa. The genre of the song is alternative rock. The band members are Lauri Ylönen (vocals), Eero Heinonen (bass guitar), Pauli Rantasalmi (guitar) and Aki Hakala (drums). The lyrics to “Liquid” tell the story of someone who has been hurt by love and is trying to cope with it. The chorus repeats the words “I'm so liquid I can flow away” which reflect the idea that he could just disappear from this pain if he wanted to. The single peaked at number one in Finland and reached number nine in Germany. It also charted in France, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland and Italy.
