Jon B. is a Grammy-nominated American singer, songwriter and record producer who has been active in the music industry since 1992.
His hit single "What I Like About You" was released on his second studio album Cool Relax in 1997. The track features production from Babyface and written by Jon B., Babyface, Daryl Simmons and Kayo. It was included on the soundtrack of the 1998 romantic comedy film How Stella Got Her Groove Back. The song is an upbeat R&B/pop number with lyrics that express appreciation for a woman's beauty, intelligence and personality. Other members of the band include keyboardist Terence Abney, bass guitarist Chris Bruce and drummer Darryl Williams. Its success earned it a Grammy nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at the 40th Annual Grammy Awards in 1998.
