VST & Company is a Filipino disco band formed in 1979. One of their most popular songs is “Magsayawan”, released on the album Viva Hot Babes (2004).
The song was written by Vehnee Saturno and produced by Vic Sotto. It features lead vocals from founding members Tito Sotto and Vic Sotto, as well as backing vocals from Rey Valera, Joey de Leon and Richie d' Horsie. The lyrics of “Magsayawan” are about celebrating life and being grateful for what one has. The song became an instant hit when it was released, reaching number one on the Philippines music charts.
